We are all in the midst of community spread of the COVID-19 virus and need to be sure our residents and their families are taking this threat seriously because older adults appear to be at the highest risk from the infection.
Staying home and social physical distancing if you do have to go out will help keep you, your family, and our community from increased risk of exposure. To this end, we are discouraging non-essential visits from family and friends. We are encouraging other ways to connect like phone, Skype, or Facetime.
We have discontinued all activities, noon meals, and use of our common areas like the Salon and Guest Room.
Governor Evers Safer At Home Order is in effect and we are following it. Section 3. Prohibited activities states "All public and private gatherings of any number of people that are not part of a single household or living unit (in our case apartment) are prohibited, except for the limited purposes expressly permitted in this Order. Landlords or rental property managers shall avoid entering leased residential premises unless emergency maintenance is required."
We have been and will continue to follow the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control as the situation develops.
