The virus shows no discrimination and has not let up in our state. We continue to ask that residents and visitors wear masks and keep six feet apart from one another. The sponsorship of activities are being reviewed on a two-week basis, with the main goal being slowing the spread of the virus.

Protocols remain in place to help protect the health and well-being of our residents and staff. Visitors are welcome if they are healthy and masked. Our weekly chair yoga sessions began and will continue as long as it can be held outside. For activities inside, we have no more than 10 people who need to stay 6 feet apart and be masked. We encourage everyone to continue frequent hand washing, practice physical distancing, and properly cover a cough or sneeze. An acrylic panel has been installed at the office window and hand sanitizer remains accessible at our front entrance and in the elevator . Frequent disinfecting of high-touch surfaces continues and only one person per elevator ride. Walks outside are encouraged to enjoy nature's beauty and the benefits of fresh air and sunshine!

We continue to have the well-being of our residents at the forefront of our decision making. While we begin to add in opportunities to socialize, we do have guidelines to be followed. No more than 10 people are allowed to gather in any of the common areas and need to stay 6 feet apart and be masked.
All visitors, staff, and residents are asked to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth when in any common area of the building, and only one person is allowed on the elevator at a time. The continual practicing of frequent hand washing is encouraged and high-touch surfaces are getting disinfected daily.

The Board of Directors and staff are taking a safe and conservative approach to help ensure our residents are safe. We require anyone who enters the building to wear a face mask and ask residents to do the same when they leave their apartment. Common area surfaces continue to be disinfected daily and we encourage residents to practice physical distancing and continue good hand washing habits.

We are all in the midst of community spread of the COVID-19 virus and need to be sure our residents and their families are taking this threat seriously because older adults appear to be at the highest risk from the infection.
Staying home and social physical distancing of at least 6 feet if you do have to go out will help keep you, your family, and our community from increased risk of exposure. To this end, we are discouraging non-essential visits from family and friends. If you do need to come in, please wear a face mask. Feel free to make use of other ways to connect like phone, mail, Skype, or Facetime.
We have discontinued all activities, communal puzzles, noon meals, and use of our common areas like the Salon and Guest Room.

Governor Evers Safer At Home Order is in effect and we are following it. Section 3. Prohibited activities states "All public and private gatherings of any number of people that are not part of a single household or living unit (in our case apartment) are prohibited, except for the limited purposes expressly permitted in this Order. Landlords or rental property managers shall avoid entering leased residential premises unless emergency maintenance is required."
We have been and will continue to follow the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control as the situation develops.
